If you’ve been weighing up a Nintendo Switch purchase then you might be glad you waited. Nintendo has just announced a new coral pink colour for the Switch Lite, which joins the existing yellow, grey and turquoise.
It’ll be available in Japan on 20 March and in America on 3 April. While there’s no word on the rest of world, fingers crossed the new hue will make its way to other countries.

The coral Switch Lite will cost the same US$199 as the other versions. The Switch Lite itself is a bridge product to help Nintendo see out the Switch brand’s third year, so a new colour of the Switch Lite simply continues the console’s mid-cycle journey.
A limited edition Animal Crossing Switch was also announced recently, but it’ll cost £319/$299 and likely be much harder to get hold of than the new coral Switch Lite.
We loved the Switch Lite when we reviewed it at launch despite it eschewing the very functionality that inspired the Switch name in the first place.
